Mindfulness in May: Day 22 – Create a meal plan

Since it’s Sunday, I think it’s a good time to think about the upcoming week. Today, let’s think about meal planning and come up with something that could help you save time and even save some money.

Day 22: Create a meal plan for next week.

I’ve never been one to plan out my meals. I always figure that I never know what I’ll be in the mood to eat on a particular day so I just decide what I’m gonna eat usually right before I eat it. So to come up with a meal plan for an entire week will definitely be a challenge for me, but I’m gonna give it a shot.

I eat a 100 percent raw vegan diet, meaning I eat no cooked foods. So sometimes it can be a little tricky to come up with a meal that is not the same as the day before. I have found that one of the keys to me staying on this lifestyle is simplicity. Which means eating the same thing for several days until my body (or my mind) decides it wants something different.

Let’s try it! Let’s come up with a plan for one week. That shouldn’t be too hard. And if it doesn’t work, then at least you know you tried and you can move back into what you were doing before. But if it does work, then you may have found a way to make you life just a little bit easier…
