Review: NEW Barn Almond Milk

Since we are a vegan family, we are always using a variety of dairy and milk replacements. When I had the opportunity to try New Barn Almond Milk, I admit, I was very curious since I hadn’t heard of the brand before.

First off, I have to say that the packaging is absolutely eye-catching. It’s in a container that is shaped like those “old school” milk jars. I had the opportunity to try the organic, unsweetened version, as well as the barista version. I use almond milk creamer in my tea on a daily basis so I was already familiar with the taste and consistency of non-dairy milk creamers.

I have to say, that as a mom who likes to make her own almond milk from scratch, this is a very good alternative if you don’t have the time or the high-speed blender to make it yourself. New Barn Almond Milk was creamy, rich and had that same subtle nutty flavor that I recognized instantly when took my first sip. It blended beautifully in my tea and was delicious in my oatmeal and cereals for breakfast. I also tried it in my green smoothie and it was even more yummy when I added in my greens and fruit. It would also be great in a protein shake which I had hoped to try but unfortunately, I ran out before I had the chance.

I really enjoyed this almond milk and I plan to buy it regularly for myself and my family. I’m really thankful that it’s sold at several stores near my home here in Las Vegas.
