Review: prAna Clothing

I have been a fan of prAna clothing for a long time now. I own and have owned so many pieces throughout the years. So when I was asked to review a prAna outfit for my blog, I have to admit, I was pretty darn happy.

Since we are moving into the fall and winter seasons, I wanted to check out some of prAna’s warmer, cold weather items so I can be ready for the low temperatures that are definitely headed my way.

I like to stick to neutrals as basic wardrobe staples, so I knew I couldn’t go wrong with a cozy sweater and a comfy pair of jeans.

I decided to go with the black Kara Jean and the Deedra Sweater Tunic in the color Winter. These are both casual and comfortable pieces that are sure to keep you warm and stylish in those cooler months. I am wearing a size medium in the sweater and the jeans, which you can see are a bit too big for me, are a size 28. I am 5’7″ tall and weigh about 125 lbs.

If you’re not familiar with prAna clothing, the company prides itself on being a “sustainable clothing movement.” They use materials such as organic cotton, recycled wool, recycled polyester and hemp to design a clothing line that benefits the environment, people who wear and and the people who make it. The mission of prAna clothing is so unique and makes such an impact, so I am always more than happy to support such a noble company in its business and long term endeavors.

If you haven’t tried prAna clothing, I’d like to invite you to give it a try. I have special coupon code for all of my readers that will give you 15% off your order (excluding sale items) and it can be used an unlimited amount of times. Just enter MMDPF17 at checkout to redeem your discount.

I do hope you give prAna clothing a try. It would also make a great gift for the man or woman in your life who appreciates good quality clothing that is also good for the environment and good for the community.
